Emily Carr (1871–1945) was a Canadian artist and writer, best known for her landscape paintings in British Columbia. Her work is celebrated for its vibrant colors and expressive style, capturing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. This particular painting "Forest Landscape" c. 1940, highlights one of the best of her later works.
